VOLTAGE: will the instrument work on my local power?
We ship from our warehouse in Belgium, Europe.
Therefor all our products strictly comply with CE norms and are equipped with and work on 230 Volts - 50 Hz mainland plug and power as standard.
Multi-Standard Designs :
A lot of electronic musical gear comes with a power supply that can be used almost anywhere in the world. The manufacturer's label shows following information:
INPUT: AC 100V- 240V~ 1.0A 50 / 60 Hz
This means the device will work on any power between 100 and 240 volts, and can operate on either 50 Hz or 60 Hz system. So you’ll be able to use it for example in France or the USA or New-Zealand, with the help of a little mains plug adaptor or a correct power cord available in any hardware store.
Non-Multi-Standard Designs :
For single power standard equipment, the solution is simple and cheap: purchase a good and inexpensive voltage converter:
- from your local hardware store (Home Depot, Radio Shack, etc)
- online (Voltageconverters.com)
Plug the converter between the mains outlet and your instrument and you’re set.
