In the past and because UPS insures your instruments only when they are adequately packed, we asked you to buy a guitar case. More often than not, our customers didn't like that for various reasons, leaving them with uninsured shipments. Not a good idea, when you realize your guitar can be smashed to splinters during its long journey to your home...
That's why we offer a complementary FREE guitar case for every guitar that comes from the manufacturer without one! So that from now on indeed UPS insures YOUR guitar shipment! This means, that if the package gets handled in a rough way, only the case is scratched and dented and ripped to pieces, and not the guitar!
However, we made no compromises: the guitar case is of the highest quality like you come to expect from musical instrument cases, and can be used for your future enjoyment.
For guitars with non-standardized form, we use a high quality, padded and dureable waterproof bag that will protect even the strangest of corners on your guitar during shipping.
Of course, expensive guitars that come with a dedicated flight case (sometimes even in the form of the guitar) will be shipped in the original brand case, as usual. You'll generally find that information on the product file of the manufacturer. If you would like to order a specific guitar case that corresponds to the guitar or bass you order, please do so. This will in no way affect our new service: it will even improve it!
